Craft your bowling identity with bowling styles and Perks, and build your unique presence on the lanes. Choose your bowling style from one of 4 options – Cranker, Stroker, Tweener, and Two-Hander. Each one has their own attributes and distinct markers that will impact your throw on the lanes.
Stroker
Love the classics? Welcome to the Stroker bowling style. This bowling style has the lowest max rev. Rate, making it great for those who prioritize control and accuracy over raw power. Join the ranks of PBA legends Norm Duke, Walter Ray Williams Jr., and Dom Barrett and make your name as a Stroker.
Tweener
Known for being the middle ground between Strokers and Crankers, Tweeners are all about balance and versatility. Popular Tweener PBA pros include Pete Weber, Chris Barnes, Francois LaVoie, and more!
Two-handed
This style is relatively new to bowling, and was popularized by Australian bowler Jason Belmonte (Belmo). Known for its high rev rate and aggressive hook, this bowling style is all about power and pin action. Pros you may know that use this style include Kyle Troup, Anthony Simonsen (Simo), and recent two-handed convert Darren Tang.
Cranker
Similar to the Two-handed bowling style, Crankers are all about speed, hook, and power. Using one hand means a slightly lesser rev rate than Two-handed, but you can still get some impressive speed and an aggressive angle on the pocket with this style. This style is used by EJ Tackett, Wes Mallott, and Sean Rash on the PBA tour.
